The problem
The back of a wheelchair is the natural place for a bag, and the hardest place for the user to reach. Getting to a phone, wallet, medication or water often means twisting, straining or asking someone for help. Bags hung on push handles can tip the chair and get in the way of anyone pushing.
The Paxis solution
The Paxis swing arm mounts to the back of the chair. Pull one release handle and a storage pack swings around the side to the front, upright and ready to open. When finished, swing it back and it latches out of the way. No reaching behind, and no waiting for help.
For users with limited arm strength or mobility, a motorized version, described in US 10,064,476, brings the pack around at the push of a button.
